Details

Flame and heat resistant 3.5 oz. to 4.0 oz. Eversoft cowhide leather palm tanned to meet NFPA flame test with additives to stay soft and have low water absorbance when wet repeatedly.


A girdle is sewn into palm for positive grip and extended wear for thumb area. Welts sewn into the middle and ring fingers for extra seam strength.

3.5 to 4.0 oz. smooth grain Flexor cow leather back with a knuckle band sewn across knuckles to give a layer of extra protection with a 60+ TPP rating.

A double layer of soft 6 oz. FR modacrylic no melt no drip liner for a smooth inside feel and heat protection to the back of hand.

A leather cuff is sewn inside wrist opening over liner for extended wear of liner and smoother donning.

Exclusive breathable adhesive is coated over entire finger, thumb and palm area, ensuring full liner/barrier/glove bonding.

Pyrotect Barricade 3 mil moisture barrier is breathable 100 % water proof, protects from viral, chemical penetration and blood borne pathogens; extends full length of glove for full protection.

4Nomex wristlet close fitting cuff to prevent embers or sharp debris entry, extending not less than 2 inches beyond wrist crease with elastic sewn on back to wrist area(more...)

    Hands don’t go all the way when wet

    Bought this gloves last month and don’t like them I put them on with my hand’s little bit wet and hand did not go all the way in I will never buy a pair again

    So far so good. I've had two jobs with them and love them. They are better that the junk our department gives us. I guess time will tell but, for now I love them.

    These are some really nice gloves in my opinion. I used them throughout the fire academy for 9 weeks. Very easy to don/doff even when they're wet. The only downside I saw, was that by week 9 on our last live burn, the gloves were beginning to fall apart, and I could start to feel some of the heat through the gloves. I don't know if that's a pro or a con in terms of durability, but as you would all know, the fire academy really beats up your gear.

    Been using Fire Hogs since they first came out in 2012 and really like them! The strong leather cuff band makes these gloves excellent in donn/doff even when wet. A very comfortable and affordable glove.

    Received these for Christmas and really like them,been in 4-5 fires and had them soaking wet everytime with no liner pullout and still easy on-off,dries fast

    This has been my all time favorite glove. the feel in them is amazing. The insides doesn't pull out when your on scene. Truly a all around amazing glove.

    Very happy to see Glove Crafter's Fire Hog structural fire gloves added to Firestore's line of fine products. Been using a single pair of these gloves for 2 1/2 years now and have zero complaints! The dexterity and comfort of these gloves is amazing for the affordable price!
