Phenix First Due Structural Fire Helmet

Lightweight protection. Proven balance. Built for the first-in crew.

The Phenix First Due Structural Fire Helmet is engineered to deliver dependable head protection without sacrificing comfort or wearability. Designed for structural firefighting, the First Due continues Phenix’s long-standing reputation for lightweight construction, balanced performance, and all-day comfort on the fireground.

Built with a high-temperature thermoplastic shell, the First Due provides strong thermal and impact resistance while maintaining a low overall weight. At just 36.5 ounces, it is one of the lightest NFPA 1971-compliant structural helmets available—helping reduce neck and upper back fatigue during extended incidents.

Its low center of gravity and central balance keep the helmet stable and secure, minimizing movement and strain while working interior operations, ventilation, or overhaul. The helmet’s aerodynamic design also helps prevent lift when exposed to high wind or speed conditions, maintaining proper positioning even at speeds up to 70 miles per hour.

The First Due features Phenix’s exclusive suspension liner system, available with either a nape strap or ratchet, offering a secure, customizable fit that stays comfortable through long shifts and demanding calls.
