Answering the call of firefighters, MSA Cairns Helmets proudly introduces the 880 Chicago firefighting helmet.

Due to production delays, some models of this helmet not in stock may take up to 8 weeks for delivery.

Made possible through the use of recent advancements in materials technology, the 880 Chicago fire helmet is the lowest profile high performance style helmet on the market today. The 880 Chicago fire helmet is an unparalleled achievement in size, performance, and styling.

    Excellent Helmet!

I spec'd out this lid before and at FDIC this year since I was looking to replace my bullard. This helmet is a GREAT fit and is super comfortable. Some say its a little heavier than others but I disagree. Did a lot of research on Cairns Helmets and I liked what I saw. I highly recommend this model or any other Cairns Helmet.

    Love This Helmet

I have only had this helmet for a little under a month, but this is one of the best fire helmets out there. I have tried the ben 2 low rider and loved the 1044 way more. Highly recommend.

    You won't be disappointed!

This is the most low profile helmet I've seen. It fits really well and is extremely comfortable. One of the perks I really like is the ability to adjust the height of the helmet as it sits on the head. Also, I paid a little more for the deluxe model and the upgrade makes a difference as well. It's much nicer having that leather head band than the older, fabric ones I've had in the past. And the price overall, you can't beat. Since my purchase, I've received lots of compliments of house nice the helmet is and how you really don't see them a lot in my department or in the surrounding departments. Consequently, The Fire Store has sold a few more 880s because of my purchase. And I also highly recommend the FoxFire Tetrahedrons for your new 880. They look great and will almost illuminate a blacked out room on their own. Couple that with a FoxFire helmet band and you'll be seen no matter where you are and in just about any conditions.

Great helmet the 1000 series are just to big and clumsy for me. only wish they'd come out with an internal visor for it.
