New Elite Pro Design with longer throat area ensures continuous seal of face opening with face piece throughout rapid head motions.  Narrower bib prevents lockdown & restrictive movement caused by the weight of SCBA straps.   

Critical Coverage DuPont™ Nomex® Nano Flex particulate barrier from the base of the neck and around the entire head except for Sure‑Fit™ panel at the crown. All critical areas of particulate penetration as identified by NFPA have a particulate barrier.

An innovative lamination process, which covers only 50% of the material, allows for improved air permeability and flexibility compared to conventional laminated particulate hoods. The pore matrix created by the Nomex® Nano Flex fiber allows moisture absorption 2½ times faster than PTFE laminate barriers. The materials and lamination process create a fabric that has unparalleled particulate efficiency, comfort and protection.

Elite Pro hoods are specifically designed to improve comfort and provide greater freedom of movement while significantly reducing tugging or pulling away from the SCBA facepiece. Tapered back, notched shoulder drape, and patterned bib perfectly interface with turnout collars and SCBA strapping. Designed to comfortably integrate with SCBA facepiece head harness and maintain a proper seal with mask.

Particulate coverage throughout the entire head including Sure‑Fit™ panel at the crown. Front and back bib extends particulate barrier coverage beyond critical areas as identified by NFPA – Maximum Protection. UL Classified to NFPA 1971 Standard on Protective Ensembles for Structural Fire Fighting and Proximity Fire Fighting – Current Edition.
