At the flick of a switch, the system lowers hard sleeves to a comfortable level for retrieval.

Complete unit with two 10’ trays: The QUIC-LIFT system at a glance

The basic system is made of high strength lightweight cast aluminum and has a depth of 6", less ladders. Powered by two durable high cycle 12v electric actuators, with a maximum load capacity of 300 lbs. Systems are easily installed on existing pumpers or tankers and require 12 VDC controlled by 30 amp two-pole, double-throw momentary switch (provided). The switch should be mounted outside the operational envelope of the system in a location providing the operator with an uninterrupted view of ladders and personnel during removal and storage operations.

Works with aluminum ladders and hard sleeves commonly carried on fire apparatus. Requires a minimum compartment shelf of 13" deep. When lowered the system keeps ladders and hard sleeves close to the vehicle, for tight apparatus positioning. Flashing light kit provided to produce a visual signal when the system is out of the stored position. Mounting brackets may be attached to castings for storage of folding ladders and pike poles. Base castings come in sets of two.

Total height, above the mounting shelf is 33" for ladders and 30" for hard sleeves. Lowers ladders and hard sleeves 31" from the stored position. Manual or electric locking systems are recommended whenever a hard sleeve tray is mounted over the LAS or HSS systems. Systems have been tested over more than 5,000 operating cycles.

The QUIC-LIFT Hard Sleeve System lowers two (or more) hard sleeves for safe, easy removal. High strength straps, with hook and loop closures, hold hard sleeve securely in place. The QUIC-LIFT system eliminates straining to retrieve hard sleeve. A switch operator can easily observe operations as hard sleeve is lowered to a comfortable retrieval position. Trays, to hold the sleeves, are constructed of 1/8" thick aluminum and are available in 10 foot lengths. Complete units (HSS-CWT-210) include all components required for mounting two hard sleeves. An additional hard sleeve may be added above the ladders or hard sleeves mounted on the standard unit. Must order one set LAS-FLB, one set HSS-TMC, one HSS-SAT, and one HSS-TMH for each hard sleeve to be added.
