Bike Siren

The Bike Siren can add a 115 dB Hi/Lo siren to any single or dual beam NiteRider System, or it can be purchased as a handlebar-mounted unit. Powered by a 9v battery, activation is through its handlebar mounted remote switch.

NOTE: If you are also purchasing the dual beam bike light be sure to order the dual beam mount model.

    This unit is not compatible with the newer Niterider LED police light. The mounting hardware was not big enough to handle a mountain bike handlebar. Some screws loosened immediately and required disassembly to access and tighten them. The unit was CONSIDERABLY quieter than 115db. I could only get 95db in very close proximity to the speaker, which is a significant difference since decibels are a logarithmic scale. This unit does not appear to be made by Niterider. Their design/engineering/manufacturing is much better than what I bought.
