THUNDERFOG 1.5" Nozzle with Pistol Grip and Stainless Steel Teeth

Since the late 1980s, Task Force Tips has chosen stainless steel for the manufacture of its spinning teeth. This was done specifically to prevent the pattern degradation caused by the bent, broken, or missing plastic teeth that have been in the marketplace for years.

The importance of the integrity of the spinning teeth cannot be stressed enough. Bent, broken, or missing teeth allow a path for flame impingement through the pattern. Stainless steel teeth are preferable to plastic in this application. TFT’s unique style of tooth design and pattern performance tends to push the heat, flame, and smoke ahead and away from the attack crew.

The Thunderfog Series of selectable gallonage 1½” and 2½” nozzles are designed for simple operation and rugged durability in structural and industrial firefighting operations. Available in tip only configurations or with a stainless steel ball shutoff and optional color coded nylon pistol grip, these series incorporate lightweight aluminum construction, reflective labeling, and stainless steel components with a protective front rubber bumper.

The 200 and 250 Thunderfog Series, are available with either TFT's uniquely cut style of fixed fog teeth, or TFT’s popular stainless steel spinning teeth to provide a wide protective fog pattern. All models also accept either a low or multi-expansion foam aspiration attachment.

All Thunderfog Series ball shutoff models offer TFT's unique quick change rear valve seat that requires no special tools or disassembly of the valve to change the rear seat assembly. The shut off handle can be color coded, laser engraved, and is produced from nylon to withstand harsh operation conditions without breaking or bending.
