The most popular Boston Leather radio holder in Universal fit.

  • Elastic and VELCRO® brand attachments keep radio securely in place
  • Attach to belt loops or a radio strap
  • Works well with most small and mid-size portable radios
The most popular of the two radio holders is the "Universal" fit leather holder. The radio fits neatly into the frame and is held securely by two elastic attachments. One is designed to go over top of radio and snap into leather radio holder. The other is designed to hold the radio snuggly around the lower portion of the radio. A VELCRO® brand leather band securely wraps around your radio and will keep radio securely in its place. A belt loop with snaps is also provided for your waist belt attachment. Two D-Rings are attached for easy attachment to your leather radio strap.

This holder works well with most small and mid-size portable radios.

Great holder, but. Eventually the elastic that goes around the bottom of the radio & over the top will wear our & not be tight to secure the radio. It's time for a new one then.

    Consider other univeral option...

Love Boston Leather radio straps, they are the only way to go. However I have found that with this specific radio holster that the elastic band that holds the bottom of the radio and the elastic in the clasp that comes over the top of the radio have both stretched out over time. This is causing the bottom of the radio to slip out of the elastic and then fall out of the holster. Keep in mind that mine has had a lot of use, and I have to put the radio in and take it out before and after each shift. If you are able to leave yours in it all the time I doubt that you would have the same problem.

I use the product every shift on inspections, EMS runs, and on PR events. It great because you can take it on and off fast without fighting your belt or your pocket. Can't wear it on the outside of turnout gear because it gets hung-up on things. Can't wear it under my turnout coat because it's hard to switch channels. The velcro strap covers the readout on the front of the radio.
